You Think Age Matters When Starting a Home-Based Business..Wrong…

On the internet, it does not matter what your age is. A home based business, especially on the internet, levels the playing field for anyone wishing to start out.
We tend to look at our lives in a series of 10s. At twenty, we are young and exploring our options in life. At thirty, we celebrate our first milestone, not yet over the hill, but quickly becoming a seasoned veteran, in terms of life experiences. At forty, we start to reflect on what we’ve done in life and wonder what we get accomplished before we become over the hill. At fifty, we are officially over the hill, and start to think of retirement from our jobs. At sixty, we ponder on how we’ll spend our lives, in retirement, with what we’ve accumulated over our years. After that, we figure we’ve been dealt life’s hand and are satisfied with living each day until our last day.
Is that all there is for us?
Man. That’s so far from what can be that most people resign themselves to the familiar cycle, never pursuing dreams always right within their reach. You can have a home based business, especially using the internet. There’s help around the corner and you can get this now.
As the Nike ad says, just do it. There are people making big money with little effort , when compared to a job as an employee. There are also people making a consistent monthly income that supplements their current job, or replaces it entirely. So, start your business. Most people never do because they don’t do one thing… take action… Don’t let your age interfere.
Having your own business enable you to take some pretty good tax deductions: Check with your accountant but you will discover a new world within your reach. It can definitely affect your pocketbook, on the positive side. Regardless of your income bracket, all of can use more tax breaks!
If you’re younger than thirty, use time to your advantage. You have so many years ahead of you that you can use as an entrepreneur and not just an employee. Read Robert Kiyosaki’s book, “Rich Dad. Poor Dad”, and you’ll see the advantages of having a business. Play the game Cashflow 101 and you’ll learn see, in game form, what it takes to be a business owner.
If you’re in your thirties, don’t be reluctant to start anything new. The sooner you get started, the longer you have to grow your business. Start your business and grow it slowly like the front lawn. Slow and steady wins the race. Persevere, don’t quit and over the long run, you’ll be years ahead of just being an employee.
If you’re nearing pre-retirement, the law of averages says that you are going to need extra income. Why not do something more productive than working at McDonalds or be a greeter at Walmart. THERE’S A BETTER WAY.
If you are already retired, how’s your life. Do you want to make a difference and help others in the process. Many of you worry that you’ll pay more taxes because you’ll earn some extra money. The reality is that if you position yourself in the right business, with the right mindset, you’ll earn more in income than you’ll have to pay in taxes. So what if you get a smaller Social Security check. You’ll be happier, more active, and wealthier in the process.
Take Willie Crawford, for example. Willie is one of the most recognized internet marketers in the world. He did not start his new career until after he had retired from a career in the US Air Force. He started by promoting a cookbook. He’s a grandfather today and is still going stronger than ever with a growing internet enterprise.
So, now, don’t let age stop you from starting a business. Recognize your weaknesses and learn the ropes. Start small and grow over time. My wish is that you will be rewarded for your efforts. It is easier than you think. The important thing is to start
